Teknos Germany plans to relocate production
Teknos Germany recently completed a strategic review of production sites in Germany. As a result, a production relocation from Fulda to Brüggen is now planned.
The aim of the recent review was to develop plans to simplify operational processes while identifying opportunities to further develop Teknos Deutschland GmbH's production and delivery capabilities. As a result of this review, Teknos has decided not to build a new plant in Steinau an der Strasse and plans to close operations in Fulda. After evaluating the existing locations, Teknos came to the conclusion that the Brüggen location offers more expansion and development opportunities.
Teknos is therefore planning to relocate production from Fulda to Brüggen and to expand the existing site in Brüggen. Teknos has informed its employees in Germany about the planned measure. About 20 jobs in production, logistics and R&D will be affected by these plans. Jobs outside of production, logistics and R&D are not affected. Teknos has now started negotiations with the works council in Fulda.
